IRONMAN69
No, it's not what ya'll thought. This was just to get your attention. Anyways, if anyone has hiked the appalation trail in virginia, let me know. I was wondering what the terrain was like, easy or hard it might be. Just some feed back if you know something that would help me.

RE: IRONMAN69
Were you with the "Fighting 69th"???

Its pretty rugged, rocky, and steep in places in the Shenan-Doh! Natl Park.
That park is WAY overused and ya might find a bit of trash along the way.

The Blue Ridge is real up and down, but if you ARE an Ironman it should be no big deal.

Greyson Highlands is the place to be. Very, very pretty. Not too bad, rugged a little north of Mt. Rogers, but worth it.

RE: IRONMAN69
I did part of the AT around the Greyson Highlands area a couple of weekends ago. Great area. Easy trails. Wind 20 to 30 mph. Cold as blue whiz.
