RE: Big E
I am still in utter shock and heartbroken. I just have to keep reminding myself that no one dies before their time and that he was a man of faith. My heart breaks for Tereasa and their family.

RIP Intimidator...

RE: Big E
I am very good friends with Martha, Dales mother. We have attended the same church for several years until we moved to where I live now last summer. She is a great lady and has spent every Sunday for years praying for her son to be safe from harm for a very long time. Not only for her son but Dales father that was also a raceman and now her grandson Jr.

My wife has made a website so that you can forward a message of hope to Martha if you wish to.

RE: Big E
Sad news indeed. I had been a fan for years. Seen him race numerous times. I think I am still in shock. Daytona always was trouble for him.

Very sad. It's tragic to see people who are so good at what they do leave this world so early.

But at least he died doing something he loved, not something lame like getting hit by a drunk driver or the like.

RE: Big E
I share your heartbreak, people.
Though I was one of those mooks who poked fun at "redneck racing" and all of its hype, I have always known that those drivers are some tough hombres and legitimate sports competitors.

Geez, he was just a year older than me....too young!

As horrible as it is for ALL of us who are left behind, the man had the privilege of dying in the saddle!
