RE: Cereal
Smart Start is a sweetened multigrain flakes and crunchy rice and oat cluster cereal made by Kellogg's. Has 100% daily value of 10 vitamins and mineerals including folic acid, is 98% fat free and has lots of carbohydrates for energy.

It, like every cereal, is a great midnight snack (I was eating a bowl of it last night and had to post because of it)!

RE: Cereal
Crunch Berries all time fav,
A bowl of sugar with a a few Cheerios on top is good from time to time, Frosted Corn flakes the generic kinda as well.

Cereal is kinda of expensive for what you get. I can eat about a half a box in a sitting so I often have to have some other food fillers form the bread family.

Buddur, Joy LOVES "smart start" she eats it most everyday. I prefer sandwiches to cereal. But I really like granola ,its just too pricey.

Yeah, i eat grits. My mother got me hooked when I was young. I eat it like hot cereal though, with sugar. i don't think i would care for grits with cheese or pepper. I'm also a huge biscuits and gravy fan. Mmmm good stuff.

RE: Cereal
Oldie, you won't be able to eat like that and keep yer girlish figure for much longer!

Smart start is the best cereal ever! I've eaten it everyday for the past eleven monthes. It helped make a good baby. Lot's of folic acid is important for little brains ya know. I get two boxes for $4.99 at the warehouse club.

Whatchutalkinbout Joy? I'm counting on my metabolism to stay sky high for ever. I'll always be able to eat what ever I want! Ha Ha! Seriously, I need to start watching what I eat or I'll have the "Olson gut" before long. My dad and uncles all have the same profile - not fat, but not trim either. For now I'll keep on with the bacon, ice cream, sweets, hamburgers...

Very seldom do I eat cold cereals. When I do it's Rasin Bran.

Hot cereals, I love grits, polenta and farina. All they need is butter, salt and pepper. Cheese is good for variety, especially on the polenta. Sugar on those cereals is blasphamy!

Didn't you guys learn anything in college? Last night's leftover pizza. For that matter, last night's leftover anything that doesn't require actual preparation (EXCEPT FOR THE COFFEE).

On the trail, Quaker Instant Oatmeal, brown sugar, maple, apple/cinnamon varieties.

Breakfast? Blech!!! I don't eat breaky unless it's on the trail or in the field. I usually have a snack of grapes or an apple/orange around 9ish when I'm at home or at work in garrison. Wait a minute.... does coffee count as a breakfast food group?

I couldn't decide if this belonged here or under a Pirate heading!

I hit the grocery last night and was going to pick up some cereal while I was there. I look around and here's Johnny Depp's face smirking back at me from a box of "Pirates of the Caribbean" cereal. I just had to get it. It's made of "black pearls" (cocoa puffs) with marshmallows that look like jolly rogers, ship's wheels, little swords, and skulls wearing pirate's hats. Too dang funny!

I've been into McCann's quick cooking Irish Oatmeal for a few months now for brekky at home. Pretty darned tastey!

I used to eat Quaker instant while on vacation (hiking, cycle touring). But now I'll stick with this stuff, when and if I can.

-Not to be confused with the slow cook McCann's-"the real deal" as my Dad says. That stuff needs to be cooked/soaked overnite or some such!

ain't that the truth. All you need to do is look at all the expensive hiking crap people buy just to walk in the woods.

I agree with all of the above. However there is no denying that I wouldn't mind seeing that face looking at me from across the breakfast table.

Johnny Dep is one of the hottest men on this planet. mmmmmm :-)

That is too funny, it reminds me of Space Balls. Merchandizing is where the real money from the movie is made. Space balls the lunch box, Space balls the breakfast cereal, Space Balls the flame thrower.....LOL!
