East Coast - anyone up for a stroll in V A?

“I just found out an hour ago that I will be attending a one day symposium in Wash DC, on Mar 1st. Final travel plans won't be made until Monday. That means.... if the logistics work out, I could have Friday 2 Mar and Saturday 3 Mar to play. I would have to be back in DC Sunday midafternoon to catch a plane home.

I haven't been following any of the East coast trip planning, so I donno if there's anything already scheduled that I might be able to join. If not, anyone interested in leading a poor northwesterner astray in the woods? Location would probably have to be southern PA or maybe the Blue Ridge / Shenendoah area of VA, or?.... someplace close enuf to DC that I could make the plane on Sunday. I'd like to avoid snow as well, since that would reduce the gear I'd need to haul on to the airplane.

No idea if this walk inna woods proposal might come off or not. Kinda depends on if anyone speaks up. If something is possible, I need to have the plan thrashed out by this Sunday, so I can firm up travel plans Monday AM.
