Llama Rama - updates - 3-1

“Time to start a new thread.
If you need any information about the August trip, or the one Sept. 13, go to the previous llama hike threads.
There should now be three of them. All the details for all the trips will be there.

Latest stats for the number of hikers are: 20 (I think).

T-shirts..

Pepperdog has found a place to do the print job. I'm keeping track of the orders, sizes, and sleeve lengths.

Today, 3-1, four of us sent out our wilderness permit requests for the bunch of us.

Today, I also sent out new maps to everyone.
Please let me know if you did not receive one.
Next items on the agenda:

E-mail lists of suggested gear for the trip, directions to my house if you need them, fishing gear lists if you need them, and local lodging and camp ground information if you don't want to camp out at my house the night of July 29.”

“I am willing to prepare a Dutch oven extravaganza again this year for those who arrive on the 29th. [Note: I have two 12" Dutch ovens. If anyone driving has one, please bring it. For this size group we could use 1 to 3 more--(3 main course + 2 dessert. I can get by with three if I clean between courses.]

It looks like I will be coordinating the T-shirt action. For now, please hold off on innundating me with requests - in the next little while I will come up with an exact cost (looks like it will be $10 - 15, with shipping and handling) and an idea of colors available and figure out how to keep track of it all.

Excitement is definately building.
