The big race next week will be my first big test. Five days away from the wife and nothin' but time on my hands. I'm making UPlover my watchdog. If he sees me sneaking anything he is sworn to kick me in the balls.

See, this is the level of my stupidity. I smoked for 11 years, quit for seven, smoked again for two or three quit for one and then smoked for the last two.

Stupid? Try normal. I've smoked 6 of the last 8 years, in 3 seperate stints.

Whether I move to a new state & quit or quit & hike a 1-month section of the Vermont AT, it just keeps coming back whenever you're at your lowest point (always dead of winter in WI for me).
