Your maps of the Firey Gizzard will show a campground (CCC) about 1/2 mile down trail from the Trailhead where we will meet at 10:00 on Saturday morning...It has a one holer and allows fires...water and bathroom are available at the trailhead. I suggest you check it out as a possible for Thursday night, (It will also allow you to find the trailhead prior to Saturday morning).

By the way, a ranger now lives at the trailhead, gates lock at night, and motion detector lights keep him awake if there is movement near your cars...lets hope he sleeps soundly.”
