I'll join the party after I finish my papers. Should only take 2 hours or so (with a couple study breaks).”

“Coooool. Get writing there Oldie. I got to skip a test tonight at class. We get to throw out one test grade out of five and I got an A going on the first four so I didn't even take the last one.

I went to Sport Chalet today and checked out their rental equipment sale. I got a pair of Rossignol skis with Rossignol bindings and Nordica boots for $75 total out the door!

We had snow in the LA area mountains today down to 3500 ft. Maybe I can get a day of skiing in yet!”

“I went on a nice motorcycle ride today. I rode through and around Seattle. I rode through our Arbortetum, and took a walk.

We stopped at "Outback" Restaurant. It was just okay. I wanted the big chocolate layer cake they advertise on tv, but it's not a cake, it's a brownie. What's up with that? Bummer!!!”

“Sorry, that's "Outback Steakhouse". The garlic mashed potatoes were too garlicky and had skins in them. The potato soup was too oniony and had big pieces of onion in them. My herb-crusted chicken could have been more tender, but the bread was good.”

“LH - did you try the "Bloomin Onion?" They're good. I had one of the best club steaks I have ever had there. My wife wasn't as impressed.”

“Phil, Lookingglass did have the blooming onion and liked it. I mentioned the place to my sister in NY. She said she had the steak & also chicken. She said the steak was okay.
