The blackout
Man I was having the DT's without my TT fix. I emailed Matt called Media3 and even ICQ'ed Big Foot.

I feel much better now.

RE: The blackout
ME TOO!

Also earlier today I saw a dog after being hit by a car, and the poor thing couldn't get off its side and onto its feet. I couldn't do a damn thing. I've been emotionally devastated and disturbed since.

RE: The blackout
Drat it happened again. This web site is likely to disappear at any moment.

I recommend each of you check out Media3 and bookmark their site. When TT goes down we can all call the 800 number and whine.

RE: The blackout
Happens to me all the time. I have know idea what the cause is but its kinda annoying. I mean I can make it into every other freakin site out there but this one. I just gave up, earlier today and even had problems just awhile ago. I don't know if this help but what I did was just keep flipping from different site to different site until the bytes received and sent was up.
Hope Matt is able to rectify this sitution otherwise my interest in the site will sure diminish. No great loss I'm sure, but if others have the difficultly that I have had in the past it could lead to a greater problem.

Please help us Matt!!!

RE: The blackout
I was going south down Rt 8 (a major interstate-like road going through Akron, and the dog was on an off-ramp. By the time I saw it, it was too late to get off that exit, and I knew that by the time I would get to the next exit and drive back to the scene, it would've been too late to do anything.

I was pretty moved by it at the time. I wanted to help, but couldn't!

RE: The blackout
I am going to guess that the website problems are related to file sizing issues. Matt keeps a close eye on this site normally, but when he takes a day off so do we.

RE: The blackout
So the dog had a bad day. What does that have to do with TT being down?

Compassionate conservatism can only extend so far.

RE: The blackout
I honestly don't know what all the problems are lately with the "blackouts". Since I haven't changed the site in about a year, I would assume it isn't anything to do with the way I programmed it. So therefor I will throw the blame on my hosting company. I have seen this exact thing happen before with other hosting companies I have used. They are good when they are small, but once they start to market themselves and get loads of clients, their service goes downhill. But like I have mentioned before, there are changes a brewing! So just keep your itchy little fingers where they are for a little longer.

Since TT was down, I spent my mornin' optimizing my PC at work. Well, I optimally broke it - I'll get my network connection back sometime tomorrow after the IT guy comes to fix it. ~>:(
