“El Kabong was a horse cartoon character that wore a mask like Zorro and hit people over the head with a guitar, as I remember. He also had a sidekick, but I don't remember his name.”

“El Kabong is my step-daughter (she won't answer to that name anymore, but it was one of her nicknames at the time -- I think it started after she whacked an obnoxious little boy in kindergarten -- he of course was smitten).”

The idea was to get a shot of Helmet Falls before losing the light. The Grizzly was in the drainage. The worst part is that we were preparing dinner in camp, about a half mile away!”
