Lowe Alpine-Sirocco II
I was wondering how well a Lowe Alpine-Sirocco II would work for week long backpacking trips. Would 4200 + 900 cu. in. be plenty of room. I believe so, but would like a secound opinion. Thanks!

Does the pack fit? That is the most important question to answer first.

How long? Do you have to carry all your gear or is there someone to share community stuff?

Ditto to what skiracer said.Find the pack that feels right and is affordable, who cares what the logo is. The volume sounds ample if you are not a chronic overpacker. I have never used the siroccoII but have owned 2 Lowe Alpine packs, joy has one too. I think that you would be hard pressed to find a better pack for the money.

My Lowe Alpine (a Counter IV) is well made, and reliable, it distributes weight well and was very economical. I'd love to have some lightwieght new technology pack, but its been wonderfully economical, comfortable and reliable and I'll be using it again this summer. I have not treated it gently, but its scarcely aged for about 400 miles of backpacking.

RE: Lowe Alpine-Sirocco II
BTW: my suggestion, get the things you plan to pack and see if they'll fit in you bac[pac and how well they carry. If they don't fit, do some thinking about what you need to take and, if needed, pick another pack.
