Trip Photos... “I have been playing with the scanner today and put together a little page with photos of a little weekend trip my sons and I took last summer. Photo Page” 12:15:12 AM 4/10/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Cool!!” 3:31:53 AM 4/10/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Very beautiful looking area. Thanks man.” 7:00:16 AM 4/10/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Looks like you guys had a good trip, beautiful area.” 7:53:42 AM 4/10/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Very nice set of Pics!” 8:13:04 AM 4/10/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Beautiful country... looks like y'all had some goooooooood times! So, Nathan's a Braves fan, ay? (as I do the tomahawk chop). Pardon my ignorance... Is the Trout in the Sierras... Cascades? I WILL make it to the left coast this summer (I have yet to get past the Rockies - not that there's anything wrong with that!). I'm shopping for locales that'll allow my dog. Fishing and cooking fires are a plus... Looks like the Trout would suit our needs.” 9:42:43 AM 4/10/01 RE: Trip Photos... “What lucky kids! Way to go Dad!” 10:12:26 AM 4/10/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Great pictures, Wind Walker! Thanks for sharing. :o)” 10:49:12 AM 4/10/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Looks like a great time. I have the same question as gojo. Where exactly is this place?” 12:07:31 PM 4/10/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Magnificant views! Yes, please tell us where we can go and crowd up the trail!” 3:23:27 PM 4/10/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Wind Walker, nice pics. It's good to see kids hiking at an early age. The sign in the pic says "Sequoia Forest". Isn't that California?” 3:30:33 PM 4/10/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Thanks Y'all! The Golden Trout Wilderness is in CA just south of the Sequoia/Kings Canyon National parks or if your on the East side of the Sierras it's just south of the John Muir Wilderness. Gojo In the Golden Trout Wilderness you can bring your dog and your gun if you so desire and fires are allowed below 10,000 feet. Just up the trail from where we stayed are beautiful Maggie lakes Frog lakes and Twin lakes btu it was Nathans first trip and I didn't want to push him to hard. Yep! Nathan and Josh both are Braves fans.” 5:34:03 PM 4/10/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Very nice looking place! Thanks for sharing them handsome family too.....you are a good dad!...wonder how close that is to the Crabtree Lakes/Mt. whitney area where the August llama-rama hike is taking place?” 6:41:41 PM 4/10/01 RE: Trip Photos... “I-am-OM It's clear on the other side of the Sierras and further south. But it's only 45 minutes from my house to the trailhead! (Probably why I have been up and down that trail so many times)” 2:21:37 AM 4/11/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Cute kids, great trip, pretty country. I don't have my own any more but we always find taking the grandkids makes a better trip for us too--they renew our interest in the little things and help us see things in a fresh light again.” 3:10:47 AM 4/11/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Thanks for sharing the pictures! Mighty handsome young men you have there. I so enjoy seeing pictures for every ones trips. I get to enjoy their hikes as well as my own!” 9:55:52 AM 4/11/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Nice pics. Looks like a very pretty area. I don't have kids, but for those of you who do, I imagine it must be wonderful to spend time in the wilderness with them.” 12:06:57 AM 4/12/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Hey WW, nice pics's. I always want the rest of the TT'rs to see the better aspects of the left coast, you've done it. Been meaning to email ya, is your JMT trip still on? How'z the planning coming?” 1:07:47 AM 4/12/01 RE: Trip Photos... “Wanderer Planning is coming along nicely! Still not sure about the other two members, but my son and I are planning on going whether they go or not. The big question right now is... can I really get 8 days of food in a Garcia Bear Canister?” 2:38:15 AM 4/12/01
