Hydration pocket for pack
I have an old Gregory Snow Creek pack and I am looking for a hydration system I can add to it. Any suggestions on the type or how to attach it?

Why not Gregory's?

Gregory's should fit the attachment points of your pack just right. You can always find a way to hook on just about any of them if you don't like Gregory's Hydropocket.

Stick it between the pack and top lid!

Mmmmmmm...I mean when you do get a hydration system, such as a Platypus, you can keep the water bottle between the pack and lid and not have to have a special pocket for it.

Buddur's right, in my book at least. It saves weight and it's simpler. As far as the bladder itself, I like the MSR. It's tough as sh!t and has a wide mouth to it in order to facilitate cleaning, filling, etc.

Get a 50 ounce Pacteen by Camelbac. They come with a carrier that straps on to your pack.

RE: Hydration pocket for pack
Casey, I recently bought the Gregory Mirage Hydration System, which is really designed to fit in any pack. At 5.3 ounces, it's been great on two day trips. It didn't work well in the side mesh pockets (where I usually keep my bottles), but I didn't put anything on the other side to balance the load. I'm going to put it on top of the main compartment above the inner closure. Some other ppl here have tried that & say it works pretty good. Whatever you get should be better than bottles, although you may want to carry empties to use in camp.

I'll usually carry my 2 L camelbak and two other 1 L Nalgene bottles. When I'm in a dry area or looking for extra weight while training, I'll carry an extra 2 L platypus.

How about placement of a platypus in a dana terraplane? I usually put it in the top lid but its kinda in the way alot.
