I have been in and out of the ravine dozens of times, in all seaons, but am not a proficient enough skier to ski it.

My parents did in the 50s on some of their first dates.”

Yeah, I've been wanting to ski Tuckerman's for awhile. I'll be in central Vermont in early May and wanted to do it then, but other committments will prevent me from doing Tuckerman's this year.”

“Never been to tuckermans. It does not look more difficult that the chutes above Alta (in Utah) which I have skied. If snow will stick on it, it can be skied.”

“It was great, I was up there three weekends ago. Skied Right Gully and the upper Snowfields, as well as a full run down the Sherbourne trail to Pinkham. Excellent snow this year. I still prefer the Left Gully, though.

There have been three crevasse rescues in the past two weeks, so be careful out there if you go. I don't think there's too much of the Sherbourne trail left.

Still some good skiing to be had in the snowfields, with car access via the Auto Road.”
