LOL...I read that a while ago when we were trying to convince a co worker she should have this done...

there's stuff about chiropractors on that page as well.

I just read up on it, too. Now I've learned about 2 things today. I think I'll stick with my Q-tip after a hot shower.

q-tips generally push wax furthur into the ear.
warm water and peroxide is usually recommended to clean beyond the outer ear.

You people are behind the times. "Ear Jet Engineing" is the way to go.

You have to be careful not to suck your brains out through the ear canal though.

is that what Stovie had done when his Dr "blew out his ear" or whatever that was?

I only use the Qtip once every few weeks, after a long hot shower. I tried peroxide once and I found there is one thing worse than an ear canal plugged by swimming pool water - an ear canal plugged by bubbling peroxide. Never again. I get little buildup anyway, so my Qtip does just fine.

Was watching an episode of real-life stories from the ER, and they had a case where a moth had gone down a woman's ear canal.

She was a little uncomfortable, to say the least.

No smoke involved, bunnybuns.
The nurse took a giant squirter and HOSED the ear wax out. Felt like she was using a garden hose squirting in my ears.

Ugh, the allergies are back already! The pines are making everything yellow, and several varieties of oaks are already covered in catkins. My eyes won't stop watering!

A local news site just posted that pollen levels the highest they've ever seen. On the website it was listed as code red. How about code runny?
