Bargain on Helly Hansen Raingear
Do any of you have a T.J. Maxx in your neighborhood?

I was in one in the St. Louis area yesterday and they had Helly Hansen rainsuits (anorak and pants) for $14 dollars. They had 'em in yellow or red. I think the model is Stratos. Each piece comes with a tiny little mesh bag to compress 'em in. Lightweight, ripstop, looks great for the warmer months.

I don't know if these stores carry the same merchandise nationwide. Check it out if you get a chance.

If you're expecting this stuff to be real raingear, you'll be disappointed. I've got a Stratos jacket and pants. They're good for light drizzle and a quick trip across an open area (running from building to building in town), but they soak awefully quickly.

Soak em in camp-dry or some other silicone water proofer.
