LOL that is a funny thread.

anyway, I am now sitting by the phone waiting to hear about the job I went for last week. the headhunter called and said it looks good but now I have to wait for an hour

man this sucks.

but i am soo ready to get back to work. I am in no way a stay at home mom that cleans all day. forget that crap. but i will miss sleeping in. I think I would be able to enjoy it more if it was guiltfree.

Me too! Never planned on becoming an accountant. It pays the bills and I have weekends off.

I miss producing sometimes, except making dick and working my life away.

Yep, I remember wearing cords. When wet, they chafe like nobody's business, and make your walk very loud. "Zweep zweep zweep" with every step.

In-laws are a part of it. They'll be here later today. A big immediate part of it was dropping a large box of books on an already sore toe.

Treebait are you one of those people who should always wear steel toed shoes, kinda like mapleleaf?

Ha ha!!

When I was a letter carrier I had steel-toed combat boots for a while.
They were good for doggie defense.

Apparently so these days. A bunch of stuff just snowballed this morning, so I wasn't as careful as I should have been in grabbing that box of books to haul upstairs.

I've never found any steel toed shoes or boots that properly either. They always try to remove my little toe.

My mom-in-law just signed the lease on a senior apartment less than a block away from us. She's been getting forgetful lately so we're really glad she's moving closer but I am soooo dreading moving all her stuff.

Hope your toe feels better quick and the in-laws don't step on your toes too (figuratively).

Don't forget all of the unannounced walk-ins, Sass. That's a serious libido killer right there.

Oh, once she's moved in it will be made very clear that she must call before coming over. If she can't remember don't think I won't change the locks, lol. It's going to be okay (I hope). She really needs to be closer and in a community geared towards older folks. It's actually a great relief that she got into the place. It's a co-op and had 65 people on the waiting list. Somehow she zoomed to the top of the list, miraculously everyone before her had either an eviction or a police record or had died.

Chicagomark, I just moved away from my in-laws (brother in law next door and HPM's parents at the end of the block) and my paretns were just under 3 miles away. That's way too effing close.
