NC backpacking trip

“BalsamWolf, Spam, and anybody else from NC:
We outta get together sometime in the next few weeks and get out there! All these other dudes from elsewhere in the country are gettin all sorts of trips together, and not once in the last 2 mos have I seen a TT trip into NC - exempting vacations from out of state. That's not to say that y'all aren't welcome too!

“You know I agree about the Shining Rock/Graveyard Fields/Black Balsam area as one of my favorites. :) Maybe sometime we all could put together a hike. Solitaryhiker and I-am-om (i think it was them, if my memory is correct) suggested earlier that we all hike Shining Rock/Cold Mountain sometime this Fall.
Pisgahforest I think TT just had a hike in Linville Gorge recently or am I wrong on that?”

“maybe. I don't remember. Come this fall though, I'll be in school in Montreal at McGill. How's your schedule in the next few months?”

“We just did a trip last weekend on the Lost Cove loop in Wilson Creek. There were about 15 of us on that trip.”
