While Baume66 is away

“Okay, so I can't help but wonder what amazing things Baume66 must be seeing while on the Fiery Gizzard trip. Today to keep my mind off of it I mowed the lawn and weeded the garden. Then I had concession stand duty at the Little League fields. There were 4 teenage boys, one very large George Foreman grill, and tons of potato chips. The grease catcher under the grill was enough to remind me that I was NOT out in the peacefulness of the mountains. I decided I needed some Bazooka Joe. GUESS WHAT THE JOKE SAID? "Dear Joe, What is the best thing for sore feet?", JB in N.Y.

“Thanks for the kind words, Phil. We do have some photos from the Maiden Voyage and we even bought a scanner last week. Baume66 was fooling around with it and I thought that he did send some pictues. We had some debate on which ones he could send in. Actually, I look like a supermodel. But somehow in the photos I have cellulite and my fake blond hair looks, well, fake. And my skin looks like it might even have a blemish or two. And I am sweaty. I think it might of been the cheap camera that we had with us. When Baume66 gets home I will have him send some photos to the Phil's famous page.”

Baume66 saved me about a gallon of sweat last weekend. I'm very glad you let him go hiking last weekend.

“LOL Running Girl! I think if a camera's outdoors for more than 3 hours straight it malfunctions and everyone's pictures start looking a bit rough.

My favorite was when Hyperpacker started showing all his pals our backpacking pics and included a pic of me putting my hair up and showing an extra fuzzy pit! They never leave out the ones we want them to. Doesn't bother me enough to make me start carrying a razor on the trail though! :^)”
