“The Guide has been carrying the 'RED Cloud' for a while. I think the Cloud is newer. I have a Red Cloud and it is one heavy sumbitch. I ususally loan it cause it will hold a ton and better for my partner to carry it than me.

The Guide has had this pack at $89.00 a couple times. I think jerbear is looking for something different.”

“The stuff is called Spectra. Eastern Mountain Sports had them on sale last November. I got the Vapor45 which was discontinued. I think it is the same as the Cloud 4500. That was the first time I had seen it on sale. They also had the Flight on sale in January and I got one of those for my son. They are less than half the price of the Cloud and weigh about half a pound more. They are a dark blue with orange threads --makes a kind of a check pattern.”
