Question on Packlite
Hi again. Just wondered if anyone has or has used these packs from Packlite. We are thinking of carrying them in my store Zoe's. Any input would be great.

RE: Question on Packlite
I haven't used them yet, but I'm planning on buying the Highlander as soon as I can get it in white.

I am very impressed with the company. The quality of construction looks awesome (lifetime warranty) and they use great materials.

RE: Question on Packlite
Do you have the web-site for the Packlite? I'm looking for a light pack when I hike into the Grand Canyon this month.

RE: Question on Packlite
Barbara--I have done a search every way I know how and the only thing I can find is their website. Are they new or just not well known?

RE: Question on Packlite
All your going to find is their website MP. They are not well known, a local company that has 3 employees. That makes it easy to get custom work done. This guy that started it worked for the Forest Service for years in Washington, he worked in the field walking the trails looking for blowdowns and reporting them to be cleaned up. His packs reflect what he thought would be best after those many days spent in the backcountry. I'm not sure how long he has been making the packs, but I do know he has 17 retailers carrying the line.

LadyHiker, I got the 5300 ci pack, can't remember what it's called. I weighed it with all the bells and loops and bottle holders still on it and it came in at 3lbs 13 oz. I plan to get the smaller pack that is internal frame but built like an external with all the pockets as soon as he can get the white material. Hope this helps.
