Trip Report: Disney's California Adventure
My daughter, Debi, and I upgraded our Disneyland annual passports to cover both parks. We have been to Disney's California Adventure twice now. It is OK, but probably not as much fun for the little kids as Disneyland.

Paradise Park has some good rides. The roller coaster looks really good, but we haven't gone on it yet.

"Soaring Over California" is one of the best rides I have ever been on. A "must see" if you come here.

Food selection and quality seems very good, with prices at their normally high level.

The big disappointment so far was the parade. Someone was sucking nitrous oxide when they came up with that.

Overall, OK. Not as good as Disney's MGM Park at Disneyworld.

Thanks for the report, Phil. I also enjoyed seeing all the wonderful, color filled photos os Debi! It looks as if you had a beautiful day of adventure. I'm sure you and Debi have a special relationship. Bless you both!

Nice pictures Phil. Debi looks really happy. I'm not sure if you mentioned once if she has a favorite ride at Disney. What is it. Mine is Pirates of the Carribbean.

Debi and I have a special relationship. She definitely is a Daddy's girl. We go to Disneyland about 1-2 times/month during school and 1/week in the summer.

Debi's favorite rides and things are Indiana Jones, Splash Mountain, the Matterhorn, and all the shows and parades. She likes Pirates also. We have had annual passes for 13 years. See what happened in 1990

Phil,

Have you given the Rain Forest Cafe in Downtown Disney a try yet. Best food around the resort.

RE: Trip Report: Disney's California Adventure
LaRock - Yes. My wife and I ate there a few weeks ago. We had a tasty appetizer plate and here salad was very good. My ribs were OK, but not as good as the ribs inside Disneyland. We enjoyed ourselves.

I want to try some of the other restaurants. We hear the ESPN restaurant is good.

UTAHIKER - You don't know how germaine your remark is. When we got our California license plate for the car it was about as Satanic as it could be (2VOW666). So I put a license plate frame around it that says, "Thank God and Disneyland". I kept saying I was going to get new plates, but never have. Now we just get lot of laughs off of the confusion it creates.
