Backpacking w/ BabyView Messages“The midwest Bacpac. IJ, I think we paid $90 but that was four years ago.” 1:06:35 PM 12/15/04 “Rubbish bbw, we're talking about the big three wheeled joggers. I saw a family 9 miles into the backcountry in Glacier NP with one. They said they've put thousands of miles on it in all kinds of terrain. Baby was giggling happily and enjoying the view.” 1:18:07 PM 12/15/04 Chariot “We are very happy with the Chariot http://www.chariotcarriers.com/ stroller system, we have the Cougar 1 with rear suspension (what they call "CAS"). Our 22 month old seems happy too until she wants to get out and climb around, then she'll snooze easily on the way back. With the 2 front wheels and the bike trailer kit we've put many dozens of miles in a dozen states on it. Other than significant wear on the tires there are no problems. We find the 2 front wheels much more maneuverable than the big front wheel kind. If it's tough going it's easy to lift the front wheels and keep going on the back. We flip the front wheels over (unscrew the retaining nuts and screw them back on upside down) when using it as a bike trailer so we can ride into the site then walk around. There are enough screened and plastic flaps to roll or flip to accommodate just about any weather condition. We paid well over $300 at REI for it but it's worth every penny.” 1:54:13 PM 12/15/04
