Just as many threads are off-subject, as.....
they are on subject. The tables are turning. All those people who thought it was wrong to speak about anything other then backpacking, are gone, or have decided off-topic threads are ok. THIS IS A REVOLUTION BABY!!!!!!

Here is the problem in a nutshell. The majority of TT contributers are lazy time burglars who sit in an office goofing off instead of working. How many hiking threads can you take in a seven hour day? (Time off for lunch and breaks of course)

Then there are folks like me who work hard everyday, but enjoy a break from work and backpacking by toying with the witless time burglars.

kleetn, I prefer wearing cotton when I can get away with it but always bring synthetic layers just in case.

Of course my thoughts are small and far between, but... kleetn would be far better off not shaving his back... He just needs to use Velcro to stick his packing equipment to his fur... umm with the possible exception of his camp stove... The smell of singed orange matted hair? not pretty!

Awwww, poor thing. I'm an animal softee. Anyway that brings back painfull memories of the dead neighbor cat I pulled off the road this week. I'm to good a person. when I first saw it I feared it was my cat. It wasn't but I figured I'd be nice and save the body from futher mutilation.
