O Brother' Where Art Thou?
Did anybody see this flick? I just saw it. It was one of the best I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. Awsome soundtrack too.

Not yet but I'm fixin' to. I saw "Heartbreakers" with Sigorney Weaver, Jennifer Love-Hewett, Gene Hackman, and Ray Liotta a while back. I laughed so hard I cried. I just rented "Best in Show" the other night. I highly recommend that. What a collection of wierdos. Very funny movie.

As a community college instructor, I was sold on "Evolution" as soon as it became apparent that the heros were of my clan. David Duchovny's first scene, where he explains why he gave A's to all the student papers but 2 is hilarious to those of us in the gig.

If you're a longtime fan of movie sci-fi, it's fun to identify the mini tributes salted throughout.

Someone owes me $3.25 and an apology. This movie is completely lacking in entertainment value. It Sucks. This movie makes the Big Lebowski look like Gone with the Wind. Nice reference, Dude

I wouldn't rent this movie to clean my VCR. The soundtrack should be used to interrogate war criminals.
I've been duped.

No thanks, Gopher give me gas.

What was with the Ben & Jerry's hair wax? Was that supposed to be funny?

OK, the cow getting run over was pretty funny, but this movie is no classic.

it was based on Homer's "the oddessey"...a musical
the coen brothers actually started with the soundtrack and based the movie around the songs...........
i am not sure it was meant to be a comedy........but...it is artform........cannot please everyone eh?

You should keep your son out of bear country while he's using Chicken grease. It's the flavor bears crave this year.

Anyone hear of a new movie coming out called "Song Catcher"? It sounds pretty good and looks like it'll have a great soundtrack if ya enjoyed "O Brother"s music. Someone go see it and give me a review! I don't want to waste a night of babysitting on a bad movie!

"Oh Brother..." got the Best Album award tonight.

Those guys are touring the beginning of next years and will include Alison Krauss & Union Station, Emmylou Harris, Patty Loveless, Ralph Stanley, The Whites, Norman and Nancy Blake, Chris Thomas King, Bob Neuwirth, The Peasall Sisters, and The Nashville Bluegrass Band.
Del McCourey will be on some dates, even. But unfortunately no shows will be playing any nearby city.

The "Man in Black" is in the hospital with pneumonia.

We saw Down From The Moutain at the film theatre this summer. It was the live concert Buddur is talking about. Glad to hear they'll be touring. It was GREAT.

For the record - I loved the movie and the soundtrack. One of my favorites of both.

My wife and I finally saw this movie and we both loved it. She had gotten the CD for her birthday last week and so we decided to see the movie.

If you aren't familiar with Homer's Odyssey I suppose it might lose some of its charm. It is supposedly also a takeoff of a movie from the 30s called "The Sullivan Brothers", which I haven't seen.

I am not a country music fan, but do enjoy bluegrass and have always liked some of the spiritual songs that were featured.

Great flick.

(I was going to ask my wife if I was "bona fide", but I am afraid of the answer)

I looked at the movie reviews on the web. People either loved it or hated it--no in-between. Most people loved it so the average reviews are very high.
