“Slow night of posting. I guess a lot of people are sleeping and preparing for their weekend or longer hikes. Hope everyone has a good time. A lot of the east coast looks like rain today and tomorrow. The midwest and Calif coast look good though.”

“Forgot to mention that the east coast is on bug overload this weekend, too. Go hiking in very windy places.”

“I was up in the NH Whites hiking... came back this morning. Wednesday was beautiful... quite warm, but not too hot and the bugs were not bad at all. Yesterday was almost as nice.

I'm in the city for the day and will head back up into the mountains with my son. We're camping out on MadRiver's land tonight and will go hiking with Mad, Amy and SirPete (mebbe even M&M????).”
