Mariners/Angels
WOW

The Mariners are 19 games ahead of the Angels. Can you believe that?

Any Mariner fans out there?

RE: Mariners/Angels
If they play .500 ball the rest of the year, they'll still win 100 games. My, oh my!

RE: Mariners/Angels
Went to a Tigers game last night. The Yankees won 10-1.

The funny thing is that the small groups of Yankee fans in the stadium would try to rub it in.

Unfortunately, that only works when the home fans care whether the home team wins. That hasn't been true in Detroit since about 1990.

So, after looking really stupid a few times in the middle of dispassionate fans, the Yankee people all quieted down and bought more beer.

Oh, the best part of the night was when they had a "Name that Tiger" game. They announced the answer as "former Tiger Tony Clark". This was, of course, when current Tiger Tony Clark was standing at first base. I wonder who gets traded next?

A's fan. Bullpen can't hold a lead if their lives depended on it. Beating the Mariners last night felt good.
