RE: Promise
Do I have to define it for you?

If that is too big of a word then how about something simpler:

"made fun of" or "abused"

I never would have done this myself a few days ago. Just now look at me. TT must be bad for me. I'm actually trying to have fun at others' expense. But they don't mind, right?

RE: Promise
abused?

Maybe you are hyper-sensitive.

That is not an attack, it is an observation.

RE: Promise
Well, it might just be me, but when someone expresses discouragement over a bad birthday and you say that you "don't care" I consider that abusive and rude. Perhaps you construe that as an "observation" but I fail to see how.

That is one example. I really don't need to prove this point to the vast majority on TT.

It has nothing to do with me being sensitive because I have only tried to defend others from your abuse (or observations or whatever you choose to call it).

Go ahead and give me your crap and see how sensitive I am. See what it gets you.

sonrises, so by being honest I was abusive? I should have lied?

People post here, because they want a response. I can't predict which response they want.

You assumed an awful lot in your post.
Why did you feel the need to appologize for me?

RE: Promise
I would NEVER apologize for you. Why should I do something for you that obviously isn't in your makeup.

As for your honesty--rude is rude whether you are honest, dishones, trolling, trying to get attention, trying to make others laugh, convincing yourself that you are clever or whatever motivates you.

That post was not an apology. It was an "observation" for the person you threw a rude comment to, unasked for.

If someone new feels trusting enough to post a problem and I try to soften a rude undeserved comment, is that such a bad thing for you? Why are you so threatened by that? Don't worry, you will retain your crown as the TT biggest ass. Why are some so upset when people stand up for those who are stepped on?

Apparently it is normal, expected and even accepted by most of the vocal ones here for bacpac to be rude to others.

Oh sure, I know that it is usually funny--until it is you. But consider all the trouble it has caused. No doubt your rudeness turns many off--even away from TT. Oh sure, it is a free country so do as you please. I never explicitly told you or anyone else not to. I just wonder what inside of you makes you have to do it.

It seems to be the longer one is in the club he more excusable rude behavior is while the newcomers have to toe the line to keep others off their backs.

Just consider this my way of dissing on you bacpac, the same way that you diss on others. If you can dish it out I know you can take it. So can everyone else.

it WAS me, for quite a while, too!

but then i realized how ridiculous i sounded, mouthing off to someone who was obviously just making a little fun.

at least my jabs were slightly humorous, unlike the lame-ass posts that i've been making lately!

RE: Promise
sonrisas, I guess we are just different.

A grown woman posting a thread about how distraught she is because someone forgot her birthday is kind of creepy to me. Why post it here? Ya might as well tell the guy at the 7-Eleven.

Outside of TT I have my life. You know family, friends, hobbies, a JOB. If you read the thread, adventure girl vented and then split. She wasn't signed up for a 12 step program and neither am I.

You said it there....40 posts on the birthday thread and only one dissed on her. Everyone else was supportive. We all must be "creepy." Yes, we are different.

Oh, if you read the thread you will see that she did come back.

I think we are the only two people that notice that sonrisas. When nancy posted a thread about how proud he was about his kid graduating from high school, I don't believe anybody cracked that. But then again, there is only one nancy in here.
