“In my neighbourhood, the snows fly, in the alpine in early October and hang around until mid July. So now is the time to get up there without snowshoes and check out the flower show.

I just got back from five days in the Stein Valley. When we arived at the trailhead it was 101f 38c degrees. We spent the mornings hiking and the afternoons in the shade by the river.
