The " NICE" Thread
Guys there is too much bickering and fighting going on lately. This thread is for everyone to post only something nice about someone else.

"If you you can't say something nice about somebody don't say anything... PLEASE."

I'll even start:

Violin is very helpful when you need help with html. Thanks Violin.

Violin is very funny as well as helpful.

Radagast is fun to banter with.

RichB always has great, detailed advice about hiking, gear, etc.

Bacpac answered specific gear questions in a very understandable, helpful way.

MaryPhyl, running girl, I-am-OM, Pamster, Mel, M&M, lizs, Sunshine, and all the other ladies are very upbeat, happy and have a lot of fun. If I left you out I'm sorry, my kids want cinnamon toast now.

here's an honest one....

skiracer and spam are two of the most gentlemanly types that i have met on any of these trips. many of the other folks are fun as hell to hang out with, but these two guys are just really nice fellas.

here's another honest one....

RE: The
Steiny gave me some excellent dehyrdating info.

Radagast knows his rock-and roll. The "name that tune" thread was fun.

Cindy_Lu helped me with Superior Trail info and even helped me spot my car.

The one group hike I went on was a blast.

There is a lot of wisdom on this site, and the "alternate viewpoints" expressed during the bickering has widened my perspective on many issues.

AZhiker does a great trip report (Havasupai Falls) and likes my recipe.

Steiny, Baume66 and adventurist are kind enough to give out information on their favorite places, when they could keep it to themselves.

There`s not many here on TT that haven`t shown me kindness in one way or another. Many Thanks go out to each of you for all that you have done to help. For me to list the names wouldn`t be right, I might forget or over look someone.

Thanks.....

You call that a moral dilemma? Tell your shack-up honey to "keep it straight"! Guffaw!

RE: The
Wow, where to start on this one. This will take more than one post!

Installment I:

I'll start with the folks I know best.

I-am-om is my breath of fresh air. I always feel "well" when she's around. I wish she were closer to NC (there's a house on my street for sale!).

Raddy, well, he's raddy. Love him to death and he' soooooo entertaining.

skiracer, what a great guy! A real gentleman with great taste in single malts, not to mention a great tush;-)

Ghost, another true gentleman, wit that is razor sharp and a great head of hair. Contrary to popular belief, he's not an axe murderer.

Gojo, a real crust on the outside marshmallow in the middle kind of guy. He'd give you the shirt off his back. Oh, and he likes to play practical jokes. Here little piggy?.

Sarabelle, smart as a whip but can't spell worth a darn.

Jerbear, his name says it all. I'm always SO happy to see him! Besides, he and Ghost always make sure I'm okay back at the tail of the trail;-)

Latuer/wwwderer, another gentleman hiker. He has the best vino and he makes raddy look like a shrinking violet. He's my sit up by the fire and sip guy.

Sasha Marie, always carries the best vino and can turn Pamster into an automatic ball launcher with one glance.

Roots, he's just like a son to me.

Cabanaman, he's just like a son to me, oh wait, he is my son. A good kid who tries to look out for everyone.

Tight Wad Bob, errr Honey, what can I say?

Never licked one yet, but I have had some mooshy, slobbered on sheep-seat covers on the front seat of my car, and some stinky bear grease all around the open drivers' door window after some nasty, stinky bear pushed himself half-way through the window trying to reach a peach on the backseat.
