select a .pdf icon so it is highlighted. Shift and right-click brings up (among others) 'opens with'. Click that and select AcroRd32 or whatever you use for .pdf files. Test it one time before checking 'Always use this program' or you may mistakely select a program that will cause your computer to crash when it's icon is clicked (sound familiar?).”

i have occasional original thoughts...but i have this daily calendar that has beautiful photos of nature and quotes by P. Yogananda that give me things to contemplate throughout my day.....this one was quite appropriate for this thread, so i will share....over a photo of cardinals perched in tree branches covered with snow reads.....
