What's with this
What are you thoughts on Red Bull? I have never heard of it before now. I don't need anything stronger than coffee to get me going, but do any of the TT er's drink this?

Just asking - no hidden messages here.

I drank it for the first time a couple of weeks ago while I was driving from Denver to Yellowstone. Basically, it made me feel like I had 3 cups of coffee. The taste was not very appealing but it did give me that little kick that I needed.

Red Bull is goooood stuff :) it's called Red Bull because it has taurine, something that your body gets depleted of when you physically exert yourself. which is why they sell it in clubs. the taste gets better when you add vodka, which i guess doesn't apply when you're driving...unless you're chronic ;)

Red Bull gives you wings!

They market it to athletes as a performance drink. There are many versions of the same thing. They even have one called Whoop Ass. I suppose so you can "open up a can of ____ ____" on your opponent.

Never tried it (except for a sip of a friends) so I cannot attest to the performance enhancement, but it tastes wierd.

Red Bull is the most disgusting stuff I've ever tasted. Does it give you energy? I don't know, I would puke before I could drink enough to do any good.

As for mixing it with vodka, I have witnessed many a nite of 300+ drunken idiots all pumped up on it. What a sight. Seems to effect the testosterone level. And all the people drinking it are making the "bitter beer" face, and saying "Tastes like crap, gimme another!"

It's the hot trendy drink for youngish teenage males...the 14-15 yo's are really into it. I think it's horrible stuff...

Oh the days! Having my friends older brother buy us a case of pony-bottle Schlitz Malt Liquor Bull and taking it up to telephone hill by the railroad tracks and pounding them down by the fire. The Bull was blue back then...then Red Bull came out later.

This new Red Bull energy drink is used in some bars around here as a mixer. I tasted it and don't like it...no matter what it does for ya. But the can does make a tiny but effective "beer-can" stove!

I've never had red bull itself. But, I've had some of its predecessors(sp?). It tastes like sh!t. But, It's so loaded down with stimulants, you won't want coffee.

Just get mountain dew.

Drivers have been warned about caffeine excess after a man was jailed for leading police on a 50-mile car chase after drinking 20 cans of Red Bull.

A spokeswoman for Red Bull said: "Research has proven that just one or two cans of Red Bull can help alleviate the effects of tiredness - there is no added benefit in consuming the product in excessive amounts.

20 cans, that is hilarious! Except for the endangering everyone's lives on the road part...LOL.
