RE: Golden raspberries
Do you know the variety of golden raspberry?

The birds don't eat my raspberries, just my blueberries. For them I cover with that nylon mesh made for it but I wish I had gotten mosquito netting instead. The mesh gets caught on the branches and I've had to rescue two birds who got their legs tangled in the mesh.

RE: Golden raspberries
That may have been me - I raise red and black and yellow raspberries. I like how sweet the yellow ones are but mine sure have a short shelf - they get soft/rot if they sit after being picked. Best eaten right off the canes.

I don't have any black ones in anymore, but I've found a wild patch and have been eating my fill every night during my walks. Last night I got a qt. of blueberries too!
