James Glanz of the Times reports two detectors in Antartica have
discovered these possible traces of the cosmic match that ignited the
Big Bang. The sound like a hum, the sound of creation.

Considering that report concerning a hum that created the Big Bang, let
us consider the definition of the word OM.
OM:The supreme and most sacred syllable, believed to be the spoken essence
of the universe.

I don't believe much of anything, but if I was going to, it would be a lot closer to a hum (OM) than a white bearded big guy.

The closest I get is toying with the idea that there is a current, or harmony that operates at some level.
