Jodi and I made it back without any problems, amazingly enough. Trip took us just over 3 hrs. She enjoyed meeting all of you, said you were all a lot of fun.”

“I finally got the CVNP pics developed and almost all turned out (there's usually a couple of fuzzy pics per roll).

I sure do wish I had a digital, cause there's a few pics I wish I could show... Most noteably Mr.Birch hanging from the vine and Mr.BuddhaBear on the lonely chimney.

On the first hike of the first day I had this one "course" planned out to tightrope-walk this downed tree over a streamchannel and up onto this narrow ridge which takes you to the top of the ravine. Well me and my big mouth mentioned we'd be hiking up that ridge before we turned the corner to get to the tree. Well everyone headed for the ridge rather than following. Therefore, I'd like to give Ms.Wolfsister a cyber-pat on the back because she was the only one to do it. Regardless, I do gotta hand it to everyone for doing that hike anyways.

Next time the hikes will be just as (if not more) awesome.”
