And to those of you in New England, check us out. The new forums are much better than the Everyone.net version and once interest in the boards is rebuilt, they'll become a great place to have targeted discussion about hiking in New England! I also antipate and look forward to participating here at TT.

lipstick hiker - Matt mentions in this post, "I have also found out over the years that most people are active in 2 or 3 board at a time. There is no law that says, 'if you post on TT, you may not participate on other sites'. thebackpacker.com is a nationally targeted site. So there is a need for regionally targeted sites such as AZ.".

If the Northeastern TTers find AlpineZone useful, that's great. Folks should visit more than one board. It brings a lot of dynamic content to all the message boards because you can post info or answers found in one board in another. If I have a question, I tend to ask it in multiple forums and at times receive widely varying responses; some useful, some not. I like to contribute to numerous message boards, including this one.
