Alert, alert, this link does not work, do not cut & paste. I have e-mailed others that may help me post a real link working link to my pictures.

Phil, what are you doing up so late? Remember the old commercial, "do you know where your kids are"? It used to come on at about 10pm. Thanks for helping us out with the link.

RE: Mt. Adams camping reception
Redone trip report:

This was a camping reception for Nomad & Meerkat. We met at Peterson's Prairie for car camping. We day hiked to the Sleeping Beauty Trail. It was steep with great rewards above. We saw Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams, Mount St. Helens, Mt. Hood and the Goats Wildness Region.

After hiking, we went back to camp to find strider with his friend Erin, and chinachas waiting for us. They had been hiking in the Goats days before.

We all joined together, led by Nomad, for caving. We entered the cool caves with flashlights and headlamps. We walked on the natural bridges. Next, back to camp for dinner.

Like "normal" receptions, we had a full open bar complete with champagne. While drinking cocktails, the camp became quiet as Meerkat read a poem that her sister wrote for her & Nomad. I sported a lipstick tie, kindly given to me & Lookingglass.

Everyone brought steaks, side dishes and desserts. As usual, there was much food left over. Nomad's friend Tom brought and barbequed delicious corn on the cob.

We sat around the fire and talked as Tom sawed wood. Tom went back & forth with his big, long saw and sexual inuendo flew around the camp. You had to be there, lol.

LG & I left early on sunday as it was a 5 hr drive back to Seattle. The End.
