“Bacpac, They decided they wanted other things besides marriage and kids. Now they are getting older, fatter, uglier, more self-absorbed, more opinionated, and lately more reclusive.

They tell me they would do it differently if they were younger.


Yes Lyndy, we take our kids out. Our 12 year old stood on top of her first moutain when she was 11 months old. Our 10 year old was up the Selway River when he was 3 months old. The 6 year old went 2miles up the Rapid River trail in the Seven Devils when she was 2. They have all taken to it and love going. Last summer the 12 year old and I took our own trip and had a great time. We hiked, talked around the fire, ate huckleberries and fished. A cow moose and its calf came and sat in the hole we were fishing in. We left of course but she still talks about it.”

“I went up to the camp I used to work at and the directors 11 year old boy ran up and gave me hug and says with pur joy "I havent seen you in a while" and I sudenly remembered why life is worth living. Its for those moments that you know you are loved. That kid is the best I have known him since he was 3. It was great to know that he has not grown to cool to hug me. i hope he never does.”
