glacier national park, B.C. “i was just wondering if anyone has been there. i am contemplating applying for a job at glacier park lodge at rogers pass. the job requires me to live at the hotel, which sonds cool.. unless it is a dump. could be fun for a year.” 12:37:52 PM 7/22/01 RE: glacier national park, B.C. “Hey Kid- The lodge is pretty nice. It's right on the #1 and you're quite close to the town of Revelstoke, there. There's not much, but the lodge, at Roger's Pass- A gas station, park info and a seasonal store. Spectacular country, and usually more snow (10m+ annually), than anywhere, in B.C. The ACC has a lodge, across the highway and it's a popular base for backcountry skiing, in winter. Lots of short steep hikes and glacial routes, in the summer.” 1:00:56 PM 7/22/01 RE: glacier national park, B.C. “You may have already seen these, but here ya go Glacier NP Mt Revelstoke NP The two parks are side by side as yo climb up Hwy 1 out of Revelstoke, B.C.” 1:10:21 PM 7/22/01
