What's it with the invisible threads? Obviously many people are able to open them but I haven't figured it out. Are the postings worth reading? Am I feeling all hurt and excluded for nothing?

RE: invisible threads
You aren't missing anything, for some silly people (myself included) its fun to play around with them and figure out new ways to find them and get in and out of them.

RE: invisible threads
pepper,

Internet browsers come with a 'view code' feature. I don't know why. I am guessing that it has some relation to the open nature of the internet. Does anyone else know?

In any event this View Code feature allows a person to look at the programing code that the page was written in. I wish all software had this feature!! All of my web pages were developed by cutting and pasting 'code' from other web sites into a text editor (Notepad) and making modifications to suit me.

HTML code is very basic and easy to understand if you apply a little logical thinking. Look at the page and compare it to the code. If you want to identify links, logic, or 'hidden threads' you should be able to figure it out, plus a whole lot more.

There are certainly more complicated aspects to web programing, but this should answer your question.

RE: invisible threads
thanks y'all. Maybe I will spend a little time figuring out more about this internet stuff one of these days.

I was going to make a snippy comment about people with 'way too much time on their hands until I thought about the way I spend my spare time and realized that I, too have 'way too much time on my hands. It just doesn't always seem like it.
