“I heard a PETA member sugset something really stupid on the radio today.

In Rockland, this weekend, is the annual lobster fest. Of course, all the PETA folks are there. ( I wonder what kind of shoe leather they are wearing, also how are they catching those balls in their softball games? TIC)

Anyways, the suggestion was to stun the lobsters before they toss them into the boiling hot water. Oh good, let's electrocute them and boil their brains before we cook them. They are still dead in just about the same length of time.

Did they ever think that most lobsters meet a very violent death in the wild, much more so than the pot. I saw on discovery channel that fish would grab the lobster and snap their tails off on the ocean floor and toss the bodies off to die slowly and munch the tail. We are providing a much more humane end of life to those tasty animals.

And how about the Clam festivals around the state? IS the clam not worthy of their concern?”

Why does PETA protest fur wearers so much more than leather wearers?

It's a lot easier to intimidate a petite woman with a mink around her neck than a bunch of Harley riding, leather wearing bikers.
