An afternoon on the west branch of the Penobscot River....on our left we have 12 foot waterfalls...every now and then we glimpse a salmon trying to make it up the falls...to the right, a clear, gorgeous view of Katahdin...then a beautiful eagle flies very low up the length of the river.
