The reason I ask is because this little girl has a need for a home and we are supposed to meet her today over at her foster home.

i think, and i'm serious when i say this, that ANY dog (of good size of course, no chihuahuas) can be a good trail dog with proper obedience...
this might sound funny, but start watching that Dog Whisperer show... its given me SO much advice on our dogs...
and also remember, that dog is going to be a 15% trail dog 85% house dog.... so take that into consideration as well

Its been a ruff two weeks, but i finially have the pup trained enough to not even bark at a cat or a rabbit or a vent or a toilet or a million other things she liked to stand and bark at for hours at a time.

hear that? the sounds of silence :) nice. Brandi and I have been working very hard on rules and manners. She is very good with sit and shake paw now, and though not perfect wieh DOWN yet, she's getting there:)

get on all 4'rs and act like her or him, wag the tail a little bit, sniff sniff nad then move tothe rear and sniff. When you can do this like a dog then you have masterd training one.
