Down From the Mountain

“Anyone else seen this yet? Running girl and I went last night and saw it. It was the first night it showed here in this area and we were 2 of the 6 people in the theater. If you like Bluegrass and Old-time Mountain music, it is a must see. It is a film of a concert performed by the makers of the music of O' Brother Where Art Thou?. It has rehearsal/interview clips with the musicians and then the concert. It was really good. Most of the music from the movie sound track and some other songs are performed. If you go, stay through the credits to hear the entire "I'll Fly Away" and a small clip with them singing. If you don't like this kind of music, you probably won't like the film.”

“It sounds like you're into Bluegrass, so perhaps you can help. While working on the Continental Divide Trail recently, I heard Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train' performed by The Yonder Mountain String Band. It was a live version. I have been unable to find it and was curious to know if you, or any other Bluegrass fans are familiar with it???

I found their website, as well as several live CD's by the band, but nothing with Crazy Train on it.”
