Adirondack Trip

“I'm going on a backpacking trip in 3 weeks for 10 days in the high peaks area of the adirondack mountains. Has anyone been up there lately?”

“Have done a few hikes over the past few years in the High Peaks area. Lower Wlfjaw, Wolfjaw,Armstrong, Gothics, Saddleback, Marcy etc. Both late fall and winter.

I am NOT a primary resource for this area however. I am only in and out of there once or twice a year and rely completely on my High Peaks guide.

Have traveled the routes in/out and around John Brooks lodge, Adk Loj and the trail along the ridge.

Can recommend the burgers at the bar of the Ausable Inn in Keene Valley.”
