Love or MoneyView MessagesLove or Money “Some of us are single. Some have been married. Some are married. Some of us are adults. If your are currently single and are inclined to get married would it be for love or money? If you are married same question, but conceal your identity as needed.” 11:48:14 PM 8/09/01 RE: Love or Money “I'm with Susan for Love. She does make more than me but That ain't the reason. We hooked up when we made the same amount.” 11:51:31 PM 8/09/01 RE: Love or Money “all you need is love.. love is all you need. now if i could only find some.” 11:57:07 PM 8/09/01 RE: Love or Money “Love is an illusion, money is real. Trying to capture the illusion of love takes money. I'm happy with or without $, and have no use for illusions. Looks like marraige isn't in the bear's plans, regardless of love or money. Good day!” 12:32:03 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Buddha Bear, are you the bear in that Molson Ice commercial? Who needs marriage when the furry guy gets all the chicks?” 12:41:54 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Love is what it's all about. Money can come and go, but love is forever...” 12:49:43 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “I would marry again for money. I would then divorce her, and take her money, and then marry for love. -Big Foot” 12:50:40 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Yo BB Never say Never. You keep an attitude like that and next thing ya know, You'll be shopping for an Engagement Ring. I used to be the same way. Good luck stickin to ya guns!” 12:51:33 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “I'm in it for sex, she's in it for security” 12:59:35 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “lol calntv & RL. It looks like latgis and walkindude are modern day Copperfields, you've mastered the illusion.” 1:02:43 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “I think love is much harder to earn, keep and respect than money. Why one would want to put them in the same catagory, I don't know. The two really can't be compared.” 1:06:55 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “I`m not outta love so, this is gonna sound funny more than anything I want love, to hell with money with love you dance to music, you can fly and hear the birds sing without love, things and money are stuff that don`t mean a thing you can take all of that money and give it a shove I`d rather be pennyless and have someone to love lipstick hiker” 1:25:26 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “BB, When your good at something...” 1:25:45 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “i think love is real. it would be nice to have some money some day though. happiness that is caused by money isnt real.. (not that i have experianced it)” 1:40:27 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Hey! lol” 1:43:25 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “I have love and I have money. If I had to choose I would take love any day.” 2:02:41 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “is it possible to actually love material items?” 2:16:13 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “I guess you can have a kind of love for sentimental things and maybe works of art? I never grieve for things lost--I find the memory is just fine.” 2:40:43 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Memory - ahhh yes memory - memory is my reason for saying "never again" - twenty plus years married to a woman I loved but who was also an addict was enough. I still grieve and love but the memory of the pain lasts just as long. HOI” 6:14:03 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “mine must have been love, because we were piss-poor when we decided to get married. hell, i had just accepted my first real job, one week before the wedding!” 7:55:33 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Love. My only regret is not marrying Mrs. Rabbit sooner than I did. Rad, we didn't have any money either and we made it just fine.” 8:14:50 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “oh, we had it, soon enough. just not at when the decision was made. at least i know that if i'm flippin' burgers, she might still hang around. <|;-{)>” 8:26:44 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Rad, That's comforting to know. I worked with a lady that left her husband when he got laid off. She said she had a lifestyle to keep up and if he couldn't support it she would find someone that would. (She's been married about 6 times now). So how long have you and the Mrs. been married, if you don't mind me asking. It will be 18 yr. this Oct. for Mrs. Rabbit and me.” 8:47:07 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “we became friends 7 years ago, but we only got 'romantically' involved about 4 years ago, and we've been married for more than 2 years. hopefully, i'll only have to be married to her for about another 70 years or so!” 8:55:41 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “during the wedding, we both had a flashback to when we were roommate friends, and we almost died laughing. we would have never considered anything like that happening, back then. it was creepy!” 9:00:13 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “yea, but its great that you two were friends first. That makes for a good marriage foundation.” 9:16:20 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “I have neither love or money right now. It's love that I search for. -- I think I'm going to die single! Oh, and poor! LOL” 9:20:41 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “To find recipricated love...would be nice! On a brighter note, I have a dog who loves me very much. And I wouldn't trade him for ALL the money in the world.” 9:23:30 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Love is everything and money is useless when it comes to matters of the soul. I know too many people that thought money would buy them happiness and ended up lonely and broke.” 9:26:46 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Love is for the living so, we keep on tryin` it`s those that have none that you see cryin` money can rent you some love by the hour, or it could even buy her a ring you can have love without money, but money without love`s not worth a thing I knew love once, but now that too is lost only after it`s gone do you know what it cost” 9:53:37 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “I have had both money and love in my day, just never at the same time! Love is much more rewarding than money (illusion or not). On the other hand, think of all the gear you could buy with the money. It's a paradox.” 10:34:34 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “I'd trade it all, every penny, for love.” 10:38:23 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Love will find a lay.” 10:50:13 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “I married a lawyer, but I still love her!” 10:50:52 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Love, obviously. Buddur - DITTO I love you more than ever, more than time and more than love, I love you more than MONEY and more than the stars above, Love you more than madness, more than waves upon the sea, Love you more than life itself, you mean that much to me. Bob Dylan” 10:53:06 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Gotta be for Love. When I was married, it wasn't for love or money. It was for convenience and for the sake of trying to "do the right thing". If I married again, it would have to be for love but I'm not so sure I will ever find anyone capable of dragging me out of my loner phase. What can I say, I'm hot, I'm cold, I'm hot, I'm cold.” 11:00:24 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “you should go see a doctor about that.” 11:38:23 AM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Married for love. Please send money.” 12:07:58 PM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “This may sound a bit cold but how to have money is to stay married. Two folks working on the pie for enough years and the money piles up quite nicely.” 12:33:28 PM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “The only way I would ever consider marriage again is if I found the kind of love that is deep, strong, and lasting. I make money by myself...can't make love alone! lol” 12:58:15 PM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “For love and common goals. You have to have the same basic values regarding what is important...especially money, children, and lifestyle. If not, it is hard to to make the love turn into a long term relationship. Been married for 27+ years. With that being said, our biggest problems have probably been over money (e.g., not enough). Excellent book on this subject: Nine Steps to Financial Freedom by Suze Orman. She discusses your "attitude" toward money as a critical concept. BTW. While I was hiking in the Sierras last week one of my wife's co-workers asked her if she was worried that something could happen to me. My wife's response was, "No. He just got a new life insurance policy." LOL” 1:53:06 PM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Nah, no need to see a doc. I'm happy with my life and not ready to find love yet. I believe that is why I am so indecisive. I'll know its love if and when it hits me.” 2:02:08 PM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “I married her for her money.” 2:10:41 PM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Have to be for love. Would like to try the money thing ....just for a short time, till I get all the gear I want.” 2:11:06 PM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Big Foot, what does losing love cost? I guess that would depend if you live in a 50/50 split state, lol :{}” 2:29:12 PM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Love, Slasher and make about the same.” 2:33:39 PM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “Slasher and I” 2:34:04 PM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!” 3:14:21 PM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “More than money, diamonds, or gold we had young love, I wanted to know her love even when I grew old you can`t look at love and figure the real cost we were once so close together and now I`m lost both of us stood together that night, what once was two I thought I knew the worth of true love, but I never knew never again will I know her lips, her laughter, or hear her sing my arms are so empty without her in them, it cost me everything” 4:19:31 PM 8/10/01 RE: Love or Money “So bpbaby is looking for some, deep, strong, and long lasting lovin. Hmmmm That doesn't sound too bad.” 5:44:31 PM 8/10/01
