9/15 & 9/16 Savage Gulf, (not sure, but I will find it)TN.

10/18 thru 10/21 Appalachian Trail - Roan Mt Section, close to Hampton TN.

11/9 thru 11/11 Tennessee Trail Association Yearly Get-Together, Newport TN

12/1 & 12/2, Fiery Gizzard, Tracy City TN

“Georgia in the spring.. >> March.. someday during spring break.. but looking like Thurs 3/14 thru Sun 3/17.. hiking from hogpen gap to dicks gap.

WalkinDude actually wants it sooner.. but March sounds like fun to me.”

“When do the rhod????drons bloom in that area? When I was there in May it was pretty, but they were all bloomed out except Blood Mountain.”

“Is anyone still going on this hike? Here's the deal, I need 4 more flight credits to get a free airlines ticket.. I'm am flying to Anaheim next week. It IS possible to get all 4 flight credits next week, IF the stars are aligned, my karma is working, and somebody up there likes me..(and they give me double credit for my flights-sometimes they do, hey what can I say? I lead a charmed life)

If so, who's picking me up from the airport? If not I will just have to wait til the next flight and another TT hike...”

“Yes, this trip is STILL on. If you look at my website, and if you check Phil's calendar of events, it is still on. It never went off. Look forward to seeing you. There will be a large contingent going.

I am also considering walking the NC portion of the AT sometime early this summer.. maybe about the time that Hot Springs does their celebration.”
