“Lately, when I try to get on TT, the connection has been realy slow to hook me up. When I log on, it takes a while for the log on to take. When I click on a Thread, the site takes so long for the thread to show. Frankly, just moving around TT takes me to much time anymore...this waiting crap is getting old.

Is it the site's server slowing down cause of the seemingly volumous posts lately, or is it my computer not sending and receiving bytes fast enough, or what? Anybody have a clue as to what's happening?

“Sometimes it pops right up, others it takes so long that I get disconnected. I think it might be a combination of traffic volume and, given the way they dealt with the code red worm, that Matt's server is not really up to snuff. And then there's the fact that ATT has exactly two lines to serve all of western MA. I've been dealing with them about that for weeks now and they keep passing the buck.”

“I've had the same problems as Buddur off and on this past week. Yesterday it got back up to usual speed and is normal again today.

I know it's this site and not my computer because it's usually the only site that is slow. Every other site is at normal speed while TT is huffing up a steep uphill at 1/2 mph.”

“I think the cause of all this chaos is that Matt's benzoate drive is clashing with his Dipropylene disk on the sever. And there may be to much Salicylic for the modem to compute with.”

I clicked on this post at 10:37am, waited to see the clock change to 10:38, then to 10:39, then my screen saver turned on, then the clock changed to 10:40 before this post FINALLY arrived onscreen.
