“Yeah, "Walk Across America" is GREAT! I think he lives not too far from me (50 miles or so). Now his stories qualify as Adventure. That's a guy I'd like to meet and hike with.”

“Peter's Ex wife, Barbara Jenkins lives in Nasville Tenn, and grew up at the edge of the Ozarks. I found a book she wrote called "I Once Knew a Woman" in the used book store, too.

Cool book.. Also, She co-authored the books (with Peter) "The Walk West" and "The Road Unseen"

“Eyes, Btw Barbara"s book is about seven women she met across America. It's not really a "Road trip" type book. Each woman has a different background and personality. Like Ruby-a western pioneer or Jan- a bayou woman. Anyway you can have my copy free if you want it, someone passed it to me so I always pass them on too.
