Those are actual Polaroids taken outside a typical tent at a typical backcountry campsite during the hours the typical backpacker is cowering in the typical sleeping bag praying for a typical rosy dawn. All your worst fears and suspicions are true. Where do you think Pink Floyd got all those weird feelings to put in their music? They camped out as kids, of course. And they were in England, where there aren't half the creepy critters to fear as here in the New World!” 10:41:05 PM 8/22/01 RE: Fear on the trail. “No Pink did mad drugs” 10:49:06 PM 8/22/01 RE: Fear on the trail. “No, not Pink Floyd, Tea! Where'd you hear such scurrilous rumors? I'm sure it was just excess endocrine system output from all the scary experiences in the British woods (or furry things in a cave with a Pict). Drugs? What kind of crazy (diamond) talk is that? Mrs. Barrett won't like you talking about her Sid that way, I'll have you know. Especially not MAD drugs, those are really bad, LOL.” 3:27:42 AM 8/23/01 RE: Fear on the trail. “i just came back from camping alone in the Kaibab Forest at GC. The wweather was horrible (hail and rain) The fear of getting struck by lightning was the most paralyzing fear I've known in a while.” 4:50:41 PM 8/23/01 RE: Fear on the trail. “Apollonia, glad to see you made it back safe you're my hero!” 9:44:02 PM 8/23/01 RE: Fear on the trail. “Bears in the GC? Never heard of that.” 11:45:17 PM 8/23/01 RE: Fear on the trail. “hmm, I think i have been trolled” 12:03:15 AM 8/24/01
